Dana is incredibly skilled at simplifying complex material…

into digestible and memorable portions. She helped me to own my knowledge of anatomy so that I was engaged – and therefore engaging – when teaching anatomy. I appreciate Dana’s clear and straight manner, which comes packaged in a light-hearted humour and generous nature.

— CASSIE LEE, YOGA TEACHER

It’s taken my teaching to the next level with my students noticing and commenting how much they love my classes."

This training is so amazing. I really love how they’ve taken each pose and broken it down. I’ve been able to apply it into my teaching and classes straight away. I cannot recommend it highly enough. If you’re considering this course, stop considering…Do it!

— HEIDI LAMPARD, YOGA TEACHER

Thanks for your professionalism and for sharing your vast knowledge and experience.

You have so carefully put together this course. The resources are invaluable both as a teacher and for my personal practice. I am constantly referring back to them for guidance and inspiration. This course has been an incredible support in developing my ability to teach both Yin and myofascial release, which are both really well received in my community.

— BERNADETTE TILDEN

THE REALITY OF teaching mixed‑level rooms

If you’re teaching yoga or pilates, you know students with…

  • desk‑bound shoulders and “mystery” hip tightness

  • weekend warriors bracing through every sensation

  • sensitive systems that flare with too much intensity.

You need techniques you can weave into your classes that meet each body where it is.

Tools that address pain and tension, settles their nervous system and creates immediate relief.

This training gives you myofascial release you can layer into a full room or your 1:1 sessions, whether that’s yin, vinyasa flow or pilates…

without stopping the flow, singling people out, or leaving anyone more sore the next day.

what becomes possible

Studios offer you doubles on the schedule.

Other teachers ask you to cover their classes.

Your classes feel fresh, creative, and purposeful.

Your students feel seen, supported, and transformed.

WHAT YOU’LL LEAVE WITH

  • Sequence and cue simple MFR you can teach in your very next class (whether that’s yin, vinyasa or pilates).

  • One adaptable framework for general populations, with supportive variations (within your scope) for athletes, stress, and chronic pain without overloading the nervous system.

  • The confidence to deliver this in real rooms with real humans who want tools for recovery, self-care and long-term movement health.

Before the training, I was juggling a household, my counselling work and weekly classes. I felt busy and a bit disconnected from my own practice.

Those four days gave me the space to reconnect and add fresh, practical tools to my teaching.

The best part was being with other teachers, learning new skills and remembering why I love this work.

Since then, I’ve been weaving the MFR techniques into my classes and using them for myself when I need them. I finally understand how and why to use MFR in a yoga setting, instead of guessing.

I recommend this training to yoga teachers, OTs and bodyworkers who want useful, practical, interesting tools they can apply right away.

— JADE ABBOTT, YOGA TEACHER

I was teaching weekly, but I wanted deeper skills in myofascial release and Yin so I joined this training.

The in‑person days were so valuable. Learning more about fascia and experiencing how it connects the whole body was a real shift for me.

Just one month later, I’ve been practicing consistently, I launched a Myofascial Release workshop at F45 and I’m teaching Yin twice per week.

I wouldn’t have had the skills to design MFR workshops or the clarity to structure Yin classes like this without the training.

I’d recommend this to teachers—especially Yin teachers—who want to build and develop their skills.

Training with Dana and Amelia was a joy, and I learned more than I imagined in just 4 days.

It was well worth the trip from North Queensland.

— BELINDA RIFAI, YOGA TEACHER

f.A.Q’s

  • Yes. This training is open to anyone who wants to learn MFR.

Most of the room will be movement professionals — yoga teachers, pilates instructors, personal trainers, health coaches, and massage therapists — learning how to share MFR with their students and clients.

But you don't need to be teaching to come.

If you're here to deepen your own practice and learn techniques you can use on yourself for years, you'll be welcomed and supported alongside everyone else.

  • No prior yin or MFR experience needed.

Every technique is built from the ground up, then layered into sequencing and cueing.

Newer teachers or practitioners feel supported through every step; experienced ones leave with a clear, repeatable framework.

It doesn’t matter whether you're teaching it to students or using it in your own practice.

  • Yes. You will learn how to weave myofascial release as a warm up or cool down technique without slowing your classes down or leaving anyone behind.

  • No. Everything is movement‑based, cue‑driven and touch‑optional.

  • No. It’s built for general classes first, with adaptations for athletes, , stress and chronic pain inside your role as a teacher.

  • Yes, bring a pen and a notebook. Some students like to bring highlighters or coloured pencils, too.

Mats, props and a comprehensive training manual provided.

  • The schedule is:

    Thurs 11AM – 4:30PM

    Fri & Sat 11AM – 8PM with lunch break

    Sun 11AM – 3:30PM

Each day consists of theory, guided practice, and hands-on, practical labs to learn anatomy and trigger points.

  • Cancellations more than 7 days in advance are eligible for a credit (minus a small admin fee).

Cancellations less than 7 days in advance are non-refundable.

  • Plan to attend all four days. Each builds on the last.

If something genuinely unavoidable comes up - like not being able to get a class covered - let us know in advance and we'll work with you.

We're not able to offer single-day or drop-in attendance.
