DEEPENING YOUR connection to YIN YOGA
A 20-hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training in Melbourne with Tania Perry
Yin Yoga is more than stretching. Practised with skill, its long, quiet holds calm the nervous system and cultivate stillness in both body and mind.
Over one immersive weekend, you’ll explore the how and why of Yin. You’ll learn the applied anatomy and Traditional Chinese Medicine behind the practice, and gain the confidence to share it, whether with students, clients, or simply on your own mat.
WHAT TO ExPECT
A hands-on, interactive weekend that balances theory with practice. Each day weaves together:
Lectures and practicums using anatomical models and visual presentations
Your own Yin practice, including two public classes at YOGA LYFE
Teaching practice in pairs and small groups, so you find your voice from day one
Discussion and reflection on what makes Yin such a powerful practice
You’ll leave with a comprehensive manual, recordings of every class and practicum to keep learning long after the weekend, and new connections.
What you’ll learn
Yin and Yang theory
Anatomy and physiology for Yin Yoga
Skeletal variation: why every body looks different in a pose
Meridian theory and Traditional Chinese Medicine
Yin asana, archetypes and variations
Tension, compression and rebound
How to teach functionally, focusing on what a pose does rather than looks
How to cultivate stillness, mindfulness and release
